#079 - A Long Conversation

 Hello everybody! Today was at last Quickwrite Day once more because GREEN GIANT HAS ABANDONED HIS POST BECAUSE OF HIS GIRLFRIEND WHO HE OFFICIALLY GOT TOGETHER WITH ABOUT LAST WEEK. Ahem. Two of the three other folks were able to write more of their perspectives on the story. In fact, the reason for several weeks of no progress is that the scene they were writing was happening in real-time for both of them. The main character for each of them has met up. Teehee hee... I was first to meet up with my friend several Quickwrites ago though. But now that means he has met up with almost everyone already. With all that aside, I was able to write down a lot more notes about some of the secondary characters from my viewpoint. It helped me with understanding past events as well as prepare for stuff that will happen in the future. In fact, I now have a few more story arcs ready to be fleshed out. :3

What is this "long conversation" I speak of? It was with B~. In fact, I also say is with B~ as it appears to be continuing. Two hours later, she has more stuff to say to me and I am very grateful for that. These days, very few people willingly start conversations with me (and at the end of the month, I will have the data that either supports that or falsifies it). I think there is a level of trust and comfort, which is why she has been shooting messages my way so often as of late (almost every other day). We first got to know each a few years ago when she wanted someone to talk to one night after being in Milli's server for a short while. I offered up my time to talk and we have been in touch ever since.

In the past two-plus hours since she sent a message my way, we have talked about a wide variety of things, mainly life struggles. I won't be giving details though. I highly value what it is that has been shared with me directly. Once more do I say I am thankful for reaching out all that time ago. It finally feels like someone is glad to talk to me and I'm not just a background or support character in someone else's story. Anyway, this is probably one of our longest-running conversations yet. At the current rate, when I lay this out on the spreadsheet, our DMs are probably going to be the ones with the most messages shared.

Other stuff I did today was my usual stream (only one), Doom 3, and no more of the VHS tapes. After about 13 hours over two days, I wanted a break from it. Thank you all for reading. Bye!

#131 - Minecraft Parodies Like It's 2014

 Hello everybody! Looks like I'm back at it again writing another post. Know what I've been doing? Listening to old Minecraft songs and parodies, primarily from 2012-2014. I remember these well from my early years of Minecraft. But as I sit here today, I realize 2014 was eleven years ago. Time really goes zoom when you're not looking. Anyway, I've been listening to ThnxCya's Love, Lost and Found  EP that was released this past summer. There's some pretty cool stuff on there, including demos and unreleased songs I never heard before. He never made too many songs (like ZexyZek or Minecraft4Meh) so it's real easy to get through all of his for both Minecraft and Call of Duty. I've also been listening to Phantaboulous's songs, and as much as I enjoy them, it bothers me so much that he had two CDs being sold all the way until 2021-ish. #135 - The Lor(e) Party

 Hello everybody! I was recently gifted a copy of The Lost Subways of North America , which I've been wanting to acquire for a while. It's a great book, but my Notch it gets tiring to hold because of how large it is. I was gifted it around the same time as Look Who's Back  and  Evangelion 3.0 + 1.11 . With that aside, time to update y'all on my Content Warning DVD. I haven't started it yet  but I do at least have all the videos ready to go, including one to be used for the main menu background. Hopefully I get to play more tomorrow (more on that later) but anything new will be added to the next DVD, alongside some other recordings that didn't have to be on the first disc. I've still be playing some Crab Champions, but not as much. I have this one run that's been going a good 16 hours or so and oh boy, I'm looking forward to starting something new at this point. #132 - Capes Galore

 Hello everybody! Today Mojang started bringing over Bedrock Edition exclusive capes to Java. Currently, the Founders and Pan Cape were copied with the possibility of the Progressive Cape as well. It'd be nice if they also brought Java capes over to Bedrock because I would like if my Minecon 2016 were available on Bedrock. We shall see as time passes and more capes roll out. Anyway, I've been working a lot on my silly little triangle game. I finally bit the bullet and implemented community level loading. It took a whole lot of logical reasoning and going through every possible solution of what didn't  work. Eventually, I was able to export the level of the dedicated editor project and load that level in the main game itself. Now that the system works, I'll be able to take advantage of the Steam Workshop in the future so that people can easily share or download through there.
