#080 - The Fallen Arches Took an L

Hello everybody! Want to know where the title comes from? The Pictorial Encyclopedia of Railways. Yes, my book from '68 which was revised and the ninth impression from '85 said "took the L." But let me give you the full context. It was actually talking about how the fallen arches took an L and Y tank engine with them. And with that, my really old book is not actually using a meme decades before it became a meme.

To continue from yesterday, my conversation with B~ lasted over 3 hours. Yeah, I went to bed close to 23:00 last night but it was worth it. I am very grateful that someone wants to talk with me so much. There is currently another ongoing conversation but it probably won't be as long as yesterday's. I was going to use the word "lengthy" instead of "long" but a quick search shows that "lengthy" means too long and because the conversation was not too long I accepted the change.

Today was another day of yardwork. I mowed the front lawn a few weeks back and today I did some more cleaning up of it. I also watched the TV series for Making Fiends (after finishing the web series several weeks ago), did only one stream today, and read more of the Pictorial. Tomorrow is Good Friday but I don't really have anything special in mind other than Easter Sunday being a combined Spanish and English service.

I am thankful for Milli, and B~, and other people I have connected well with online. And of course, I am also thankful for the three of my friends who I know in the real world and other close acquaintances. Thank you all for reading. Bye!
