#120 - The LORE!!!

Hello everybody! Today, I spent about 11 and a half hours working on my Minecraft Megurigoaka map. Enriquedem has put quite a lot of time into the city on there as well, so big props to him. Anyway, I needed background noise while working- and a lot of it. So what did I just listen to for hours on end?

Video essays involving FNaF. Icebergs, history, and storytelling was the majority of it. I would not be surprised if I dreamed about animatronic bears tonight.

Earlier, quite a fascinating experience occurred to me and someone I'll name Cosmonaut. No, she's not Russian, but it's based on her Discord name. Anyway, I was just chilling in Milli's Discord server when I saw a ping come from there: more specifically the main text channel. Cosmonaut asked "Are you actually the real Xelanater?" You see, I have "I am the real Xelanater!" posted in the bio of just about every account online you will fin me in. I've been using it for years, based on a certain achievement from Garry's Mod. I've been asked the question before in non-serious manners, so I was expecting a joke or something this time...

"I used watch some of your videos from 7-ish years ago... Wowzers, this moment means a lot... IDK I'm kinda freeaking out. Whatt..."

I randomly stumbled into one of my viewers from within the first six months of being on Tube and over a year and half before Paul Gard (who is my oldest subscriber that is active on my channel). I couldn't believe it at first, so I asked "What videos of mine do you remember?"

"I think I remember like a live stream video... Nono, it was like the 14-hour idea video... for a live stream I think?"

That 12-hour live stream idea video is such an obscure one that is buried on my channel. I never talked about it before then and never talked about it since. It is such an oddball video of mine that I am certain she watched my videos at the time. If somebody wanted to fake remembering my videos, they probably would've gone for my Minecraft Nostalgia series or my Far Lands at Spawn video or one of my early map videos. This encounter was...

Heartwarming.

Someone remembers me my Minecraft videos after more than seven years. I really thought that all my early viewers were gone by now- everyone before my Ultimate Minecraft Polyworld series other than Paul. There is a certain joy in being remembered after this long, and at meeting one of my fans out in the wild internet. It is an honor.

You probably won't ever read this yourself, but once do I say:

Thank you. Thank you for watching then. Thank you for today.

...

With today shared, I'll add that yesterday I did my (now) regular two streams of Infdev+ and completed the third book in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series. I also tackled some yardwork and caught up on other house-based things to do. Thursday involved my two streams and not much else.

I don't know when I'll get the chance to, but I'm looking forward to hanging out with my RCA again or my sister and cousin. Thank you all for reading. Bye!
