#125 - It's Been a Year

Hello everybody! It has officially passed a whole year since I started this blog. I would say "yay" but that means I should have over 350 posts by now... As y'all see, I have less than half. I've been quite busy with real-world stuff, primarily helping my cousin get her house clean an empty in preparation for the move out of there. I've also gotten more done on 400 Tiny Books and the Stories Within... but kind of hit a standstill at 259 total entries right now. My last one was from December 20- it's already been a week. :/ I'm sure I'll get back to it soon, I still want the main 400 entries completed by next July and it's still feasible to hit that amount. I have 194 days to go and only 141 entries left.

Ready for April Fool's Day? I'm working on it, despite having four months to go. I aim to release at least 12 videos that day- one at every hour. It'll be hilarious to me to have so many videos release on the same day. :P I started on three different videos so far, but none are complete and rendered. It's a slow process, but as long as I am consistent then I'll get all the videos done in time. Probably.

NUT has become my favorite animation studio. Why? They debuted with The Saga of Tanya the Evil in 2017- which is my third favorite anime of all time (behind Kiniro Mosaic and School-Live in the top spot). But they also worked on a couple of the FLCL seasons (which isquite a fascinating series) and Deca-Dence, which I saw just recently on December 6. Deca-Dence is quite a cool series and held onto my interest well. Unlike most anime that are adaptions, Deca-Dence is original and I think is worth watching. The characters, events, and worldbuilding were well-crafted, I say.

I finally got back to writing more of my latest Quickwrite book. It's the big Robotics Club completion and I am having a lot of fun with it. I spent a fair amount of time setting up for it in the previous Quickwrites, so getting back to writing with such a big event as this is an epic return, I say. It technically isn't much of classic Quickwrite though, because this one will be the longest single Quickwrite I ever written- currently at five typed pages. Truthfully, I didn't want the competition to be skimmed, so I'm just making it super long to fit all the details I want to. I'm thinking tomorrow I'll finish it, or at least get another big chunk of it completed. For as much as I'm having fun with this competition, I still need to continue on with the important story afterward.

Oh yeah, the title of this post is a reference to "The Best Thing" by Reliant K. Thank you all for reading. Bye!
