#129 - Return to the Old

Hello everybody! Caleb and Sophia stopped paying rent which meant I had to kick them out of my head. They do not get to live rent-free in there. With them out, did something take their spot?

Predecessor has surprised me by going free. Finally, I don't have to pay $20 to play an upgraded version of Paragon after Epic Games shut it down. It's pretty fun but I can see it becoming repetitive. I've only fought against the AI because I don't trust myself to go against other people I don't know yet. Hopefully some folks I know will join me on this. :S At first, I mostly focused on playing as Grux because his abilities suited my playstyle.

After having no idea how to play the first time around, I paused and read what the menus actually told me. Now that I know what I'm supposed to do with the items and abilities, I've branched out some. Khaimera became much more fun when I knew how to use him. I also really like playing as Shinbi now for the same reason. And another reason, truth be told. :3

Other than playing Predecessor, I've played more Sven Co-op as well. I am really close to reaching Level 800 again on Misfire's Very XP servers. Soon, it'll be time to reset it back to 0 just to get up to Prestige 3. I can't remember the command to do it, so I'll have to look on the Discord server like last time. However, I've been really trying to crack down on the current Quickwrite book. I feel so close to the end, yet, there's still much to do.

I have written up to 70 out of 90, but there are 11 of them that haven't been included because someone whose name starts with P and ends in Ie Master J has been too preoccupied with other stuff to participate in his side of the story when needed. Other than that, I estimate that if I really focus on a few quickwrites each day, I'll be done by the end of next week. It'd be nice if the book was ready for final formatting and polish by the end of the month. I was going to get it done by December, but at this point I kind of need it to be done sooner than that unless the Lord provides a way for me to continue my current lifestyle of working on various projects.

April Fool's Day was just a few days ago and oh boy was it a big showdown. 18 videos. 18! That was a lot of videos to release on April 1st. It was totally worth it. I resurrected eight series, released the next Long Haul to the Far Lands album, made a Population: Xelanater short, and created a 1,000-subscriber thank-you video. If y'all haven't seen that last one yet, you totally should. I had a lot of fun editing the clip compilations and filming the live-action portion of it. Oh yeah, a few random videos were included as well.

That's about it for me this time. I took a two-week (minimum) break from streaming to not only get the AF videos done but to also relax afterward. I included "minimum" because I may or may not take this upcoming week off as well and just release more pre-recorded episodes of the aforementioned series. I really, really want to see the Quickwrite approaching the finish line by the end of next week. But, we shall see if life prohibits me from doing so.

I kind of want to make a couple of Caleb and Sophia DVDs just because. The last episode was an "epic" release back in December, so it's already been a while. There very well could be a new lesson coming out soon. If they released another one, that would ruin how I plan to organize the DVDs. Hey, wait a minute. I evicted you! Get out of my head!

I wonder how long until Lura responds to my email from a week and a half ago. Anyway, thank you all for reading. Bye!
