#016 - It Was an Adventure!

Hello everybody! Today, I went up to the mountains with a few real-world folks I know. We tried going to one place. No luck there. An hour and a half after leaving my house, we went driving elsewhere for food. I got a delectable BLT sandwich. Yes, DillWaters, I just can't let that go years later. Anyway, we then walked around the small modern village, looking at various stores. One was an antique shop that had an old book called Pictorial Encyclopedia of Railways by Hamilton Ellis from 1968. It used to be a library book because it had a card with the list of people who checked it out; all were from the 70s. It was a really neat find, but unfortunately, the folks were asking a bit too much for it since I can find the book online for about 5-10$. Truth be told, I might purchase it elsewhere, or the revised version from 1976 assuming that it has been updated. with new content. There were a fair amount of major railway advancements between 1968 and 1976.

After visiting the shops, we tried tracking down snow a little more but failed to do so. Without any major success, we went home. There was just one big challenge between the mountain and our homes though: total darkness with thick fog. The folks in the back were really panicking, but I had confidence in our driver. :3 In the end, all four of us made it back down the mountain safely and I was able to get a few pictures and videos throughout the day. I think it went well. Upon being home, I got more done on game development stuff (because I need to get the next update video out tomorrow due to being busy Thursday and later) while also chilling in the general voice call on Milli's primary Discord server.

Today was a good day, but it is now time to catch my ZZZs. Tomorrow, I shall get that block selection menu added to Boxel Voxels, despite procrastinating on it. Thank you all for reading. Bye!
