#065 - Forward and March!

 Hello everybody! If you don't know the reference of today's post title, it's from the Polar Express. It was toward the end-ish and spoken by one of the elves. I say it often when I am talking about going to the next activity or location.

Yesterday was "Wear Green or Get Pinched" Day. I didn't know it was until someone I conversed with brought it up. When every day feels like an endless summer vacation (flashbacks to watching Haruhi and Endless Eight) I have lost track of holidays. Being home six days a week, what do I really need holidays for? I'm not taking a break from anything. I do aim to get rest on Sundays though. Unless I just relax on Saturday, which I try to be productive on Sunday after church.

Yesterday involved some Doom II whilst in a Discord call on Milli's server, my usual stream, and figuring out a big problem with my Android WBTA builds (on top of other progress for it). Today I played some Half-Life 1 VR and helped my dad set up some switches with the simulator cockpit we've been working on. My goshness, that requires a fair amount of brain power. But not as much as game development though. Yesterday got my brain nice and toasty from all the Android problems I had to figure out for When Bad Things Arrive. I wish mobile development was as easy as Desktop development.

I still miss my friends, two of them in particular, but the cousin I converse with and share about is willing to drive me to lunch with one of them. :D I'd insert the Discord party_potato emote but this is not Discord. This is Blogger. Anyway, I haven't yet brought up the idea with my friend yet. I'm thinking closer to the end of April because that'll be a big time for me. Well, -ish. Today is the 18th which means that's only a month away. I have a high degree of confidence I can wait that long.

As of now, I think the folks I know on Milli's server are doing alright. Little by little, I am getting to know the two folks who attempted to end their life that I was able to make direct contact. And all four of them are still active on the server, so I view that as a good sign. And with that, I think I have shared all that I desire for today.

One of these days, I hope to get in contact with Tekpir8. He is currently the one updating the Wayukian texture/resource pack. I want to use the textures in Boxel Voxels. But that's a story for another day. I'm getting tired and am ready for today to end so that tomorrow can be upon me. Thank you all for reading. Bye!

 Hello everybody! Looks like I'm back at it again writing another post. Know what I've been doing? Listening to old Minecraft songs and parodies, primarily from 2012-2014. #135 - The Lor(e) Party

 Hello everybody! I was recently gifted a copy of The Lost Subways of North America , which I've been wanting to acquire for a while. It's a great book, but my Notch it gets tiring to hold because of how large it is. I was gifted it around the same time as Look Who's Back  and  Evangelion 3.0 + 1.11 . With that aside, time to update y'all on my Content Warning DVD. I haven't started it yet  but I do at least have all the videos ready to go, including one to be used for the main menu background. Hopefully I get to play more tomorrow (more on that later) but anything new will be added to the next DVD, alongside some other recordings that didn't have to be on the first disc. I've still be playing some Crab Champions, but not as much. I have this one run that's been going a good 16 hours or so and oh boy, I'm looking forward to starting something new at this point. #132 - Capes Galore

 Hello everybody! Today Mojang started bringing over Bedrock Edition exclusive capes to Java. Currently, the Founders and Pan Cape were copied with the possibility of the Progressive Cape as well. It'd be nice if they also brought Java capes over to Bedrock because I would like if my Minecon 2016 were available on Bedrock. We shall see as time passes and more capes roll out. Anyway, I've been working a lot on my silly little triangle game. I finally bit the bullet and implemented community level loading. It took a whole lot of logical reasoning and going through every possible solution of what didn't  work. Eventually, I was able to export the level of the dedicated editor project and load that level in the main game itself. Now that the system works, I'll be able to take advantage of the Steam Workshop in the future so that people can easily share or download through there.
