#110 - Mixed Games

 Hello everybody! Minor events have taken place. On Sunday, I was at my great-grandma's house after church. For most of the time, I was with my dearest cousin. We cleaned and organized her room and I was loaned two books to read. The first is Howl's Moving Castle. I didn't know it was a book first until she handed it to me. The second is Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I've wanted to read it for a long while, and now I have the opportunity to do so. She has the collection, but currently, I'm only borrowing the first book. I am 48 pages into Howl's Moving Castle. So far, my only comment is that 1980s European English is not my native language.

I had a regular Modded Superflat Survival stream yesterday and today. I won't be streaming the rest of the week though. I'll be taking the time to do other stuff... such as listen to the first 180 songs of Gaming Mix. Those together total over 12 hours. I was able to get it onto a single CD because I just copied the mp3 files onto the data disc. Man, have I really been listening to Gaming Mix for over 7 years? Time goes zoom... Yesterday I also got more work done on the VR port of When Bad Things Arrive. The next features to work on are the flashlight (challenging) and jumping (very easy). From there, it's just polish and performance improvements.

Today I did some yard work and rewatched the first three OVAs for Happy Lesson. Only the first three were dubbed and included on the Western DVD release, along with the original 14 episodes. Happy Lesson has kind of a complicated release history, so at least the original three OVAs are a complete story. The following two OVAs go along with the second season, but unfortunately, none of that was ever dubbed. And then there was Happy Lesson Final...

Next weekend I plan on visiting my great-grandma's house again. I'll be rewatching some of the Jurassic movies with my cousin because there are a fair amount of smaller details I picked up on that I wanted to share. It's also the weekend that a train museum is open, but it currently looks like I will be unable to attend. Maybe next month, if this weekend doesn't work out. Next weekend is also right before the birthday of one of my college groupies. Did you know that I had a dream about her recently? In it, we were laying in the grass, looking at the starry night sky...

But she doesn't need to know I had the dream. :P She made a cool little birthday card for me this year (and even delivered $20 [the card was annotated as from her/her family, so the money might have come from her dad, who I am acquainted with also, but that part does not matter to me because I value the card itself much more]) and I hope to make one for her in return. I have not yet decided how I'll put it all together though. Her family is on vacation which means I won't see her until the 18th. I have time to figure out something good to give her.

 Hello everybody! Looks like I'm back at it again writing another post. Know what I've been doing? Listening to old Minecraft songs and parodies, primarily from 2012-2014. #135 - The Lor(e) Party

 Hello everybody! I was recently gifted a copy of The Lost Subways of North America , which I've been wanting to acquire for a while. It's a great book, but my Notch it gets tiring to hold because of how large it is. I was gifted it around the same time as Look Who's Back  and  Evangelion 3.0 + 1.11 . With that aside, time to update y'all on my Content Warning DVD. I haven't started it yet  but I do at least have all the videos ready to go, including one to be used for the main menu background. Hopefully I get to play more tomorrow (more on that later) but anything new will be added to the next DVD, alongside some other recordings that didn't have to be on the first disc. I've still be playing some Crab Champions, but not as much. I have this one run that's been going a good 16 hours or so and oh boy, I'm looking forward to starting something new at this point. #132 - Capes Galore

 Hello everybody! Today Mojang started bringing over Bedrock Edition exclusive capes to Java. Currently, the Founders and Pan Cape were copied with the possibility of the Progressive Cape as well. It'd be nice if they also brought Java capes over to Bedrock because I would like if my Minecon 2016 were available on Bedrock. We shall see as time passes and more capes roll out. Anyway, I've been working a lot on my silly little triangle game. I finally bit the bullet and implemented community level loading. It took a whole lot of logical reasoning and going through every possible solution of what didn't  work. Eventually, I was able to export the level of the dedicated editor project and load that level in the main game itself. Now that the system works, I'll be able to take advantage of the Steam Workshop in the future so that people can easily share or download through there.
