#127 - Old Height Limit

Hello everybody! It's Single's Awareness Day! As someone who has never been in a relationship before, this day is superior to Valentine's Day. Hehehe...

Anyway, I've been up to some stuff but not much, I think. I've been tackling a lot more of the new Quickwrite story. I am glad that I'm finally getting it done. Tonight, I'll be starting a re-read to see if anything needs to be improved or if grammar needs to be fixed. Chances are, both will be happening. I've also been working on backing up Omniarchive. Oh boy, it was over 220GB and still not complete. #off-topic was 1.27GB just in the HTML file. I had to cut it off at around May 22, 2023.

Then I got into watching the web series "Become Jehovah's Friend." Why, you may be asking? A YouTube recommendation popped up. It told me about this absurd Jehovah's Witness propaganda. Having now seen all the current 47 entries (2 and a half hours), I can say it is definitely absurd propaganda. It made me laugh, so at least it was good for something. It also got me feeling bad for our main characters Caleb and Sophia because of the intense pressure from their parents. Poor Zoey is also slowly being roped into this. Oh no!

Who's next? Is Chuck the Bully going to be a convert? Or Angela the Mean Girl? I don't know where the series will go next. At the speed they've been going at making this, we might not get the next entry until summer or later. However, this most recent episode kind of feels like a capstone to a story arc. Sophia and Caleb finally convinced Zoey to join the cultist loner group only hang out with JW kids. At the school, that is exactly two people.

Darn. I'm getting too invested in these characters. It makes me sad to see the path they're going on.

Pushing that aside, I've been emailing Lura some more. It's nice that she has not yet gotten tired of my mundane life. I also briefly started Minecraft Through the Android, starting in Pocket Edition 0.2.0 and going to 0.6.1. Then I put up a poll and people wanted me to go for Minecraft Across the 360, starting at 0.66.0054, which I call pre-TU0. Both series have been fun. They are good experiments for playing Minecraft on the computer, but not Java or Bedrock edition.

That's all the important stuff I can think of. Tomorrow, I'll be going snow skiing!

Thank you all for reading. Bye!
